  I have written messages to Father Randel Mussulmen and to the Deputy Grand Knight Gerry Baur and also the Knight Mr. Hammond for help with the widow; of the deceased 50 year old son of Mr. William Scheidell who is also a member of the Knights of Columbus at the Saint Peter's Catholic Church on Big Pine Key. I don't think I have ever been treated so ignorantly by an organization who is supposed to help people and who collect money as a charity all tax free. I have notified each one of these individuals a few times and so far not even an apology for not getting back with me. I got absolutely nothing. I noticed they are always friendly when they want money but boy when it's the other way around they forget that they are supposed to give not take. I am especially appalled because at the funeral of Tom Scheidell his father William Scheidell who is a Knight offered the widow who happens to be a real conch born in Key West, for help. I know this guy William has no money left, but I thought he would make an excellent advocate for his son’s widowed wife. She is crippled and lives in a house that she owes more on then it is worth. She is up to her ears is debt and it looks like she is going to have to go back to work regardless of the fact that she has to work in constant pain. It is a sad situation but it seems that Saint Peter's Catholic Church doesn't want to help her. I begged Father Mussulmen and The Knights of Columbus for help but they have chosen to ignore me instead.

  Wonderful parish! We have attended mass here on our Christmas vacation for over 10 years and despite being "visitors" - we feel right at home.
